A few more details…
What can I commission?
1
I specialize in personal. My dream project doesn’t have a medium- just an idea and a desire to collaborate. Whether you are looking for stationery, illustration, object, or something new, I’m happy to bring your vision to life. Fill out the connect form to get in touch - I’ll let you know if I can create what you’re dreaming of!
What is the wedding invitation process like?
2
I’m here to make sure your wedding stationery fits seamlessly with your vision. It’s the first glimpse your guests will see of your celebration, so why not set the tone for the special occasion?
Once you complete a connect form, you can expect the following:
A short call to understand your goals, timelines, budget, and aesthetic
Custom quote, including timelines and a-la-carte additions
Collaborative design process, including wording guidance, color palettes, mockups, and revisions
Printing method coordination
How long do custom wedding invitation suites take?
3
My invitation suites are completely unique, so please understand getting the details just right takes time. Timelines depend heavily on your selected printing method, which we can discuss during our initial consultation call. As a rule of thumb, please allow for 4-6 weeks for digitally printed suites and 6-8 weeks for letter pressed suites. Additional items (day-of signage, napkins, table cards, etc.) require additional design time.
Your custom quote will include deadlines for each and every piece of your stationery suite so you’ll know exactly what to expect before we get started.
When should I send my wedding invitations?
4
Once we get started collaborating, I can consult on the best timeline for your wedding. My general approach is to send your save-the-dates at least 6 months ahead of your wedding, especially if attendance requires travel. Formal invitations should be sent at least 12 weeks prior to your wedding date. Destination weddings that require additional planning for your guests should be sent earlier; let’s chat about what that looks like for you!
*It’s important to leave enough time for envelope stuffing, stamping, and mailing when considering timelines.
Do you recommend certain printers or vendors?
5
Yes! I’ve worked with several different printers, paper producers, and vendors. I can provide guidance on where to source envelopes, stamps, embellishments, and more. I can recommend resources that fit your aesthetic and budget in your quote.
Where are you located?
6
I currently live and work in Amsterdam. Yes- in the Netherlands! I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri and have plenty of experience with Midwestern wedding vendors. I am happy to work with clients both in Europe and the United States.
The majority of my work happens digitally, so you can expect seamless collaboration. Clients seeking letter-pressed stationery should account for international shipping times as production happens in my home studio here in North Holland. Digital invitations can be printed and shipped from within the United States through recommended producers.
How much does this cost?
7
Working together is a completely custom process. Each project requires various levels of consultation, design, and production. My prices will be outlined in detail through custom quotes, provided following a kick off call. I prioritize creating the best solution for your price range.
Invitation suites begin at $300 and vary in price depending on guest count, detail, and print method. Objects and illustrations begin at $150 and vary depending on size, medium, and detail.
